I guess back then, my family and I were living like "rich people," and we didn't even know it. Too bad things had to change for so many people who can no longer afford to see a doctor. The key is comprehensive health insurance for everyone - single payer plan NOT administered by the government and then folks can decide if they want fancy schmancy "over and above" MD services. I didn't used to think a single-payer plan could work. Now I think it can.
